Time for some reality

We are just over two years into President Barack Obama’s presidency. During the candidacy, BHO ran on a platform of “change.” It was all about change, but that “change” was never defined. The mistake of the American public was to think that a Chicagoland politician would equate “change” with “better.” That is never the case.

So let’s look as some rather sobering realities of the “change” that Barack Hussein Obama has effected in the economy of the country and how that has, in turn, affected the standing of the United States in the world economy.

Now before the Leftists run off at the mouth that banks were failing during George Bush’s term, let us recall that it was the irresponsible laws passed by the Democrat-controlled Congress and crafted by Barney Frank, D-Mass., and Chris Dodd, D-Conn., that allowed the banks to make the loans which begot the housing crisis, which in turn, helped to spin the mortgage crisis out of control. What actions have been taken by the Obama Administration to deal with these issues? Substantively, not a finger has been lifted. Rather, the Obama Administration went on a spending spree. In fact, national housing prices are currently in the throes of a double dip. The economy is now slowing down and inflation is starting to ramp up thanks to the binge printing of US currency and the insistence that 0% interest rates make sense.

So what has BHO done to better the economy? To date, there is the failed “economic stimulus” package in 2009. There is the so-called bailout of General Motors that harmed investors not once, but twice. Once when the takeover took place and rendered all stocks worthless. Then the second time with the midnight sale a few weeks ago of government investments in the company which sent the stock below the IPO offering price.

On the international front, BHO has spent lots of time apologizing and generally proving the jackass is an apropos animal to represent the Democrat Party. Most recently he and his team couldn’t even pull up a pre-emption of Donald Trump’s show Celebrity Apprentice to announce to the world that Navy SEALs had supposedly killed Osama bin Laden. To make matters worse, his team is now making him look even more desperate by not being able to decide whether or not to display photos proving OBL is dead. The reason? According to BHO, he doesn’t want to “spike the football.” Hmmm. Seems like BHO had no problem spiking the football in the face of Republicans at the start of his administration during what was supposed to have been a bipartisan discussion on the now-failed economic stimulus. To wit: Obama to GOP: I won.

True, BHO may have won in November 2008, but he is losing ground on all fronts. Even the microscopic bounce in poll numbers after the announcement of OBL’s supposed killing is not going to save him from the upcoming jobless numbers or the double dip recession that is coming up.

Typical of his generation, BHO has been installed in a position of authority – he’s been handed the reins – and he is ill-equipped to handle the responsibility. The “Change” has been for the worse and Americans and their progeny are left holding the bill. Time for Americans to wise up; Democrat Rule, with its RINO toadies, has harmed this country. Time to end the careers of career politicians by electing real reformers who will do the will of the people. Yes, it is time to Question Authority once more and hold those in office accountable for their votes and their actions that have harmed us and our progeny.
