Reunion 2013 at Rutgers

Those who have gotten to know me over the years know that my connections with Rutgers run very deep beyond just my time On the Banks as a student. However, it was that time and those experiences that solidified my love for the place. Certainly there are many other students who have had differing experiences. Yet the majority of us have one thing in common: we are alumni of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.

As you may be aware, Rutgers holds a reunion each year for classes celebrating their 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, and 50th years as alumni. This year, the alumni from class years ending in 3s and 8s will be celebrating. The Class of 1963 will be inducted into the Old Guard of Rutgers. Throughout the weekend, the classes will be hosting reunion receptions. Other events will be hosted by alumni associations and departments. But Reunion weekend is not just for those celebrating their five and ten year achievement. It is meant for everyone who graduated from the University and their families to return to the Banks to enjoy camaraderie and renew old acquaintances, friendships, and make new connections.

Please consider this to be my personal invitation to take part in Reunion 2013 during the weekend of May 17-19, 2013. In the next couple of weeks, brochures will be mailed out to those who graduated in class years ending in 3s and 8s. However, I invite all of you to take part! These days are fun times! Why not join us?

If you would like to learn more about the events, please visit The Registration Form should be up and available for use by Friday of next week.

Thank you!
